It’s time for one of the best sales of the year…The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I’m just a Nordy girl, living in a Nordstrom world!! Why?!…the quality of their products and all the variety they offer is hard to beat. They also have great customer service with some of the best return policies. So let’s shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2021 together using some of my tips for the best shopping experience and snags!
Tips for Shopping the Nordstrom Sale
When it comes to shopping the sale, you should have a shopping plan in mind. My recommendation is to start your process online to get an idea of what items you may want to snag. You can search the sale by categories “women: clothing” and then filter more specifically by category “activewear”. If you want to get even more specific, you can filter by brands, sizes, colors, etc. Then if you are torn on whether to make the trip to shop in store or rather just buy online, you can set your store and filter by “pick-up today” to see what they have in stock. You can even buy in store products online and do curbside pick-up! Pro Tip: Always read descriptions and reviews for fit and sizing recommendations!
Best Sale Snags
As far as what’s best to snag, it’s obviously a personal decision but there are some focus areas to consider. Reach for items that you don’t currently have much of and feel will be good staple pieces, especially for the upcoming Fall and Winter months. Remember versatility is key in a closet as to get plenty of wear time out of items. Also, if there are items you feel that you can purchase elsewhere for just as good or lower prices, they are not worth the buy.
Some items I personally passed on this year included jeans and some of the shoes as I feel there are better deals out there on the same or similar items. For example, I’m a DSW fan for deals on name brand shoes and usually hit Nordstrom Rack for my designer jeans. Now brands that I did feel were worth taking a look at included Treasure + Bond, Free People, Spanx, Barefoot Dreams, BDG, Baublebar and Diptyque. Further, some items I didn’t jump on and wish I would have were in the beauty and home department including several skincare devices as well as beauty and home fragrances as there are some big savings.
