The rooftop patio space in our home was a big selling point for us to take the downsize plunge. Giving up an outdoor space is hard, but we also didn’t want the yard maintenance anymore, so this was a perfect option for us. We’re been able to create a little oasis feel in the space and truly love to soak it up in the spring, summer and fall!
We focused on filling the space with pieces that provided relaxation as well as function so opted for various seating areas. We first created a conversation area with a fire pit table, sofa and chairs that makes for the best spot to gab and sip on cocktails with friends and family. We then added a hightop table (similar to our exact) and chairs to be able to enjoy our city views. We also opted for a dining table and chairs to dine alfresco with a small group. Lastly, the biggest and most impactful addition to the space was adding privacy fencing and faux greenery to give us that true oasis feel.
