The Power of Giving Thanks

Style blogger Lindsey Weaver wearing her favorite green cardigan for fall.
Giving thanks to this perfect Fall animal print cardigan too!

How are you giving thanks this season? Seeing that this is the beginning of a very special journey for me as well as the month of Thanksgiving, it only seems fitting to share all that I am beyond thankful for! As I’m sure many of you can relate, this has without a doubt been one of the craziest and most challenging years in my lifetime (thanks COVID!) but I’ve decided to embrace it and push ahead. I am so excited to share my brand spanking new blog website with all of you and how truly thankful I am!

First of all, I am so grateful for all of you following and supporting me! Somedays I still can’t believe that I have taken this blogging journey on. It’s definitely been a whirlwind loaded with tons of learning and growing. I truly hope to bring fun and joy to all of your lives, especially related to fashion and home. It’s a passion of mine, and it brings me so much happiness to finally get to share that part of me with others!

Second, I have the most amazing hubby EVER!  I know every woman says this but it’s 100 percent true in my world. He’s everything that I’m not and provides the most support and love a woman could ask for. Having him by my side as my number one fan is a very big reason I’m finally tackling this dream!  He’s the ultimate provider and supporter…pretty damn cute, too – I mean the hair!?

Third, my family are my peeps and another set of cheerleaders that are always rooting me on! You can’t beat having people in your life who believe in you, especially maybe when you don’t always believe in yourself – because we all have those self-doubt moments! Just hearing “you do you” and “you’ve got this” or “you are doing great” can make all the difference!

Lastly, to my friends who as my dad always says “They don’t got to love you!” I’m lucky to have all of you in my life and can’t express enough how much I appreciate your love and support. I mean think about it, many of us not only get blessed with family but then gain friends along the way who are an extension of our family and love us like we are…pretty freaking awesome if you ask me! Hold them tight!!

In closing, I am thankful for my health and safety during this tough time. I hope all of you have been able to stay well, too. I also hope you all have things and people in your life that you are thankful for – I would love to hear! Drop a comment on my latest Instagram post. I can’t wait!

Thankful and blessed,

Lindsey
