Swimsuit season is finally among us! Honestly not my favorite piece of clothing but definitely here for the warmer weather and hopefully some vacay time! When it comes to swimsuits at my age, I’m looking for flattering styles with good coverage that don’t break the bank. I’ve searched and tried a lot but here are some of my go to affordable swimsuits.
It will come at no surprise that Amazon makes the list of places to look for affordable swimwear! It’s just so convenient and has lots of options. Now with that being said, you definitely have to do some specific searching and reading reviews. The best part as we all know though is that returns are easy and delivery prompt. Here is one of my Amazon swim snags that passed the fit check: Criss Cross High Waisted Bikini (fits tts).
Another one not to be shocked by…Target! We all know every year they will drop some great options at very reasonable prices and this year is no different. I particularly have been a fan of there one piece options, especially their fun cut-out styles. Another great option Target often offers is mixing and matching capability to get more wear out of your pieces. Here are a few of my favorite Target swimsuits: Ribbed Cut Out One Piece Swimsuit (fits tts) and Knot Side High Waisted Bikini Bottoms (fit tts).
This is a place that often gets overlooked but Aerie definitely is one of my favorite places for swimwear and pretty much everything else – seriously, don’t skip the other clothing options here! They offer some really flattering pieces particularly in their crossover style. They also do a great job in categorizing the fit and style of their suits so it’s easy to shop. Here is my favorite Aerie suit to date: Ribbed High Waisted Bikini Bottom (fit tts) and Ribbed Longline Scoop Bikini Top (sized down one compared to their size chart).
If you are looking for variety and good prices, Cupshe is a really great option. They have a wide range of styles as well as some great cover-ups, too. Their styles tend to be pretty trendy including some fun prints and bright colors. Given the trendy vibe, be sure to read descriptions well and really look at the cuts of the suits to ensure you get the style you want. Here are some of my Cupshe finds: Sara Yellow Square Ring Bikini (fit tts) and Marsala Twist High Waisted Bikini (fit tts).
These are all great options to consider for swimwear when you want to keep the price point reasonable but not completely sacrifice quality. Will these swimsuits last forever? It really all depends on how much you wear them, how you care for them and so forth. Honestly though by the time you need to replace, you will be wanting a different style anyways so it’s a win, win in the end!
Happy Swimsuit Season,
