It’s March and we’ve all officially fit Spring Fever Mode! Dreaming of warm weather, pretty pastel colors and floral prints!! Depending on where you live, the weather may not fully cooperate with your Spring dreams so think about loading your closet with some great Spring Wardrobe Staples that can easily be layered while still living that Spring feeling!
Spring Wardrobe: Tops + Bottoms
When Spring hits most of us are ready to ditch the long sleeves; therefore, adding some pretty tanks and camis to your closet is great as they can be worn alone or layered. It only makes sense to add in a variety of cardigans next to cover up your arms on cooler days or evenings. Another great option for Spring are lightweight button down shirts to again wear alone or layer with.
When it comes to bottoms skirts, jeans and shorts hit the Spring list! With skirts, there are so many options from midi to mini that can all be great for Spring days and nights. In the jeans department, ankle and crop options can come back into play. For shorts, think of adding staple pairs of an assortment of colors to dress up and down.
Staples: Outerwear + Shoes
Given the often unpredictable weather during Spring, jackets are a must! A couple of the most functional types of jackets to consider would be a good denim, utility and quilt jacket. These are great options as they are lightweight yet provide an extra layer of form and style to your outfit. Plus they are easy to throw in a bag to have on hand!
Now for the fun part…shoes! As fun as boots are most of us are ready to let our feet to breathe in mules and sandals. Braided material in shoes is trending this season so be on the lookout for great options of this style. Another great option shoe wise for Spring are sneakers. There are so many statement sneaker options now, and they are been styled way more into lots of different outfits!
Spring often brings a lot of excitement and brightness in the fashion world after what always seems like a long Winter season. It can also be challenging though to dress given the inconsistent temperatures. So hopefully having some great Spring wardrobe staple pieces in your closet can make it easier!
